A group of young people recently organised a sponsored car wash in order to raise funds for the Have a Heart Appeal. The group were taking part in a training course at the Savoy Centre run by iSE (Initiatives for Social Entrepreneurs) looking at small business start up and the role social enterprises can play in the country's economy.
Around a hundred and fifty pounds was raised on the day for the Appeal and the youngsters were joined by the local firefighter in order to speed the process along.
